Create a Mobile Campaign

  1. In LiveEngage, click on the ‘Campaigns’ tab.

  1. Click on the ‘+ Add campaign’ button in the bottom left hand corner

Or, click on the ‘Action’ dropdown menu in the top right corner, and choose ‘Add’.

  1. Click on the campaign name to edit it.

  1. Click on the description to edit it.

  1. Click on the campaign goal to edit it.

  1. Choose a goal from your goal library.

  1. Click the ‘Done’ button in the bottom right hand corner.

  1. Click on the target audience to edit it.

  1. Click the ‘+ Add new’ button in the target audience library.

  1. Enter a target audience name into the form field.

  1. Click on the ‘+ Add description’ link to edit it.

  1. Click on the ‘Platform’ button that is listed under the Origin section of the Conditions.

  1. Click the checkboxes for ‘Mobile tablet’ and ‘Mobile smartphone’.

  1. Click the ‘Save’ button in the bottom right hand corner.

  1. Click the ‘Done’ button in the bottom right hand corner.

  1. Click the ‘+ Add engagement’ button.

You will now be taken to the engagement library which allow you to select from number of different engagements that you can edit, or you can choose a blank template to create your own. For this example, we will be using the default sticky button.

  1. Click the ‘Next’ button in the bottom right hand corner.

  1. This will bring you to the Engagement Studio where you can customize different aspects of the engagement. For this example, we are just going to use the default settings.

 

Click the ‘Next’ button in the bottom right hand corner.

  1. This will then bring you to the Engagement Window library where you can choose the engagement window you would like to use for your engagement, and where you can customize your engagement window. For this example, we are just going to use the default window.

Click the ‘Next’ button in the bottom right hand corner.

  1. This will bring you to the Location Library where you can choose where you would like your engagement to show up on your website. For this example, we will use the default location of ‘Entire website’.

  1. Click the ‘Next’ button in the right hand corner.

  1. This will bring you to the Visitor Behavior Library where you can define which visitor actions on your website will trigger the engagement. For this example, we will use the default behavior ‘All Behaviors’.

  1. Click the ‘Done’ button in the bottom right hand corner.

  1. Enter a name for your engagement in the form field.

  1. Click the ‘Publish’ button in the top right hand corner.

  1. Your mobile campaign is now active and running.
